Are you passionate about bat conservation and would like to support Vincent Wildlife Trust’s Bat Team by managing reserves, overseeing bat projects and reporting on conservation interventions?

We have a fixed-term vacancy for a Senior Bat Conservation Officer starting on 1 July 2023 for 18 months to 31 December 2024.

The role involves collaborating on a landscape-scale greater horseshoe bat project in southeast England, managing bat reserves that hold 50% of Britain’s population of greater horseshoe bats, assisting with our rare woodland bat ringing and bat box schemes and collaborating with our PhD students and Science Team to help deliver ground-breaking projects and concrete conservation interventions for rare bats.
