Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage, we are looking for two Project Officers and a Communications and Engagement Officer for this exciting new project — made possible by the players of the Lottery.

Project Officer (two posts)

Can you inspire a cross-section of people including volunteers, land managers and community groups in a range of activities, including fieldwork, surveys and monitoring activities. Do you have experience and knowledge of wildlife conservation, practical fieldwork and monitoring experience, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, along with experience of working with partners, landowners and other stakeholders.

VWT is looking for two Project Officer for its new Martens on the Move project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. One post will be based at the Scottish/English borders and one post will be based at the Welsh/English borders.

Communications and Engagement Officer

Do you have experience in providing communications support across a range of channels and platforms? Can you plan, organise and deliver a variety of community engagement events and volunteer training, with a focus on groups under-represented in conservation.

Can you inspire a cross-section of people, including volunteers, land managers and youth and community groups in a range of activities. Do you have demonstrable commitment to and experience of using a range of communication channels and social media platforms, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
