VWT is delighted to be working with the Martes Working Group, Forestry and Land Scotland and Cairngorms Connect to organise the 8th International Martes Symposium, which will be held in the UK for the first time.

The symposium is usually held every four to five years, and this year it will be in Aviemore, Scotland from 12-15 September 2023.

The event brings together researchers, land managers and conservationists from all over the world to share research and discuss common issues on species in the ‘Martes Complex’ (marten, fisher, tayra and wolverine).
