VWT is loooking for someone passionate about bat conservation who will support VWT’s Bat Team by managing the maintenance and enhancement of bat reserves and to assist with various VWT bat projects.
This fixed-term, part-time role offers an unrivalled opportunity to manage some of Britain’s largest and most important bat reserves and is crucial in supporting the delivery of a wide range of bat conservation projects.
You will need to have practical experience in arboriculture, forestry or land management, construction and nature conservation. You will competently use a range of hand tools and ladders and experienced in health and safety systems relevant to practical site work, eg, risk assessments, Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA) guides and lone working systems. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence.
