1st November 2021

DEADLINE REACHED – we are no longer accepting applications for this post.

Do you have a demonstrable commitment to volunteering and community engagement and a passion for mammal conservation?

Vincent Wildlife Trust, a specialist mammal research and conservation charity working on threatened mammals, is offering an opportunity for someone experienced in working both with volunteers in a conservation setting and with local community groups and stakeholders. We are looking for a candidate with a combination of these talents who, during this period of maternity cover, can maintain the momentum created by our present Volunteering and Community Engagement Officer.

Your primary purpose will be to develop and coordinate our volunteer programme, building on existing success and undertake effective communication activities to recruit, train and support VWT’s volunteers. In return, the Trust offers a quality employment package, the chance for training and professional development and the learning of new skills and experiences.

This post is a full time, 40 hours per week, maternity cover starting on Monday 7 February 2022 for at least 52 weeks, with a starting salary of £24,300 per annum. To meet the needs of the post, the role will be split between VWT’s Bronsil Office in Ledbury, Herefordshire and a Home Office.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 7 or Wednesday 8 December 2021, either in person or via video conferencing.

Closing date for applications: 17:00 on Friday 26 November 2021
